In our class, you can learn classical kintsugi based on the experience and knowledge of SUEZAKI HIROKI, who has been involved in the restoration of cultural properties for many years as a lacquer art restorer.
We will teach you that the traditional techniques handed down from the Edo period using natural materials, as well as the natural tools.
*Membership registration is required to participate in these classes.
*Start-up Lesson is required before joining as a studio member.
古典金継ぎ教室「京の手習い」では、漆芸修復師として長年にわたり文化財修復に携わってきた末崎広樹の経験と知識をもとにした、金継ぎを学ぶことができます。使用する材料はもちろん、道具にいたるまで自然素材を基本とし、江戸時代から伝わる伝統的な技術をお伝えいたします。

Kyoto Class 京都大徳寺前教室
This is a class held in Kyoto studio.
You can work in a quiet environment overlooking the east gate of Daitokuji Temple.
You can choose from several plans to suit your proficiency level and lifestyle.
京都教室の様子です。教室は京都の北エリアに位置しており、茶道とも関係の深い大徳寺門前の静かな環境で作業に取り組めます。

Start-up Lesson
Fee: 99,000 yen
This is a 2-hour x 6-session course to learn our basic kintsugi processes.You may take up to two sessions per day.
An individual curriculum will be created by combining group or private lessons within 4 months.
An instructor will be provided.
The cost of materials other than finishing powders such as gold and platinum powders are included in the fee.
*No membership fee or toolbox purchase is required for start-up lessons only.
*Even during the start-up lesson period, you can freely use the studio for extra practice by separately signing up for the (2) Studio usage 1-day plan.
*After completing the 6 sessions, you can continue practicing and deepening your skills with either the (1) Studio Use Fixed Fee Plan or the (2) Studio usage 1-day plan. Since everyone learns the basic processes at their own pace, you're welcome to revisit earlier steps as needed while steadily stepping up to the next level.
Studio Use Plan
This plan allows you to use the studio more freely and immerse yourself in kintsugi.
Our craftsman will be present to manage and operate the studio. Users can ask for advice from our craftsman as needed.
Open Days: 1st 2nd 3rd Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of each month (9 days a month) *Except for year-end and New Year holidays *Open on national holidays as well

You can use the studio for unlimited number of days and hours within the 9 open days and hours per month.

Fee: 17,600 yen
You can freely use the studio during the open hours of the day.

【スタートアップレッスン】
費用：99,000円
ご入会前の基本の工程を学ぶための2時間 × 6回のコースです。1日に2回まで受講いただけます。
4ヶ月の間にグループレッスンまたはプライベートレッスンを組み合わせて個別のカリキュラムを作成します。HIROKI認定講師が付きます。
金粉、白金粉などの仕上げ粉以外の材料費はご料金に含まれます。
※スタートアップレッスンに限りご入会金、お道具箱の購入は不要です。
※スタートアップレッスン期間中も、②スタジオ利用 1日利用プランを別途お申込みいただくことで、追加の作業日として自由にスタジオをご利用いただけます。
※6回で基本工程を学んだ後も、①スタジオ利用 定額プランまたは②1日利用プランで継続して練習・研究いただけます。基本工程の習得ペースには個人差があるため、必要に応じて工程を復習しながら、着実にステップアップして進めていただけます。

スタジオをより自由にお使いいただき、金継ぎに没頭・研究できるプランです。
職人が管理運営者として在席します。ご利用者は適宜、職人にアドバイスを求めることができます。
