“International Ceramics Festival Mino, Japan” is one of the world’s biggest ceramics festivals, held every three years since 1986 in Tajimi, Mizunami, Toki, and Kani, the leading ceramic production areas in Japan.
Our event will be held on October 19 and 20, with a lecture by Kiyokawa and a workshop on classical kintsugi using Mino ware on the 19th.In addition, on both days there will be an exhibition and sale of works by students of our kintsugi class. We look forward to seeing you there.

「国際陶磁器フェスティバル美濃」は、日本を代表する陶産地である岐阜県多治見市・瑞浪市・土岐市・可児市を舞台に、1986年から3年に1度開催している世界最大級の陶磁器の祭典です。イタリア・ファエンツァのargilla italiaと同じく世界4大陶磁器祭に数えれます。この度、そんな国際陶磁器フェスティバル美濃’24に平安堂京都が初めて出展いたします。
10月19日（土）・20日（日）の2日間、私たちの金継ぎ教室「京の手習い」のメンバーによる作品展示・販売会を予定している他、19日には清川による講演と金継ぎ体験を開催いたします。金継ぎ体験では、フェスティバル実行員会のご協力のもと、壊れた美濃焼を平安堂京都の職人が下地まで仕上げた特別な器で金継ぎのハイライトである金蒔きをご体験いただけます。
