神奈川県西部に位置する「大磯町」。江戸時代は東海道の宿場町として栄え、明治以降は伊藤博文、吉田茂をはじめとした首相の邸宅、要人の別荘が多く建てられました。「大磯うつわの日」は、町内各地のお店や施設を会場として、多くの作家が集まりうつわを展示販売するイベントです。
平安堂京都は、10月18日・19日に金継ぎ教室の生徒による作品展示・販売を歴史ある「大磯迎賓会」で行う他、18日には清川によるトークイベントを予定しております。詳細は、うつわの日公式サイトをご覧ください。皆様のお越しをお待ちしております。

Oiso Town is located in the western part of Kanagawa Prefecture.
During the Edo period (1603-1867), the town flourished as an inn town on the Tokaido Highway, and after the Meiji period (1868-1912), many residences of prime ministers, including Hirobumi Ito and Shigeru Yoshida, and villas of important persons were built here.
The “Oiso Utsuwa Days” is an event where many artists gather to exhibit and sell their vessels at stores and facilities throughout the town.

Heiando Kyoto will exhibit and sell works by students of the kintsugi class on October 18 and 19, and Kiyokawa will hold a talk event on the 18th. For details, please visit the official Utsuwa no Hi website. We are looking forward to seeing you there.
